Mark Scott, Director
Mark Scott is the Director and Program Manager for the Mississippi State University Veterans Business Outreach Center. He is responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the VBOC cooperative agreement with the Small Business Administration. Mark returned to the VBOC from the Boots to Business Revenue Readiness program on 1 June 2019. Mark has over 30 years' experience as a business development professional for Raytheon Company in the military/defense community, where he directed and managed multiple field offices, focusing on understanding customer requirements and needs. Mark previously served as an officer on active duty and the national guard/reserve component of the Army and was co-owner of a consulting company providing services to the government contracting community.
